Common questions

How much does a 5-gallon bucket of honey weigh?

60 pounds of raw honey to a 5-gallon bucket, and 12 pounds to a 1-gallon jug. Those weights are exact, not rounded.

Is your honey raw, or is it heated and pasteurized?

Raw. We strain it just enough to pour clean and never pasteurize or ultra-filter it, so the pollen and the flavor stay in the jar. Sell it as raw honey with a straight face.

Do I need a wholesale account or a minimum order to buy in bulk?

No. There’s no account to open, no membership, and no order minimum. Buy one bucket or a full truckload, and you pay the same price everyone sees.

What honey varieties do you carry in bulk?

Gallberry, wildflower, Florida holly, and clover, straight from our own North Florida hives. What’s in stock shifts with the season, so check the buckets and gallons above for what’s ready to ship today.

My honey turned solid in the bucket — did it go bad?

No. Raw honey crystallizes on its own and it’s still perfectly good. Warm the bucket slowly in a bath of hot water and it pours clear again. Never boil it.

How long does bulk honey keep on the shelf?

Honey doesn’t spoil. Store the bucket sealed, cool, and out of direct sun and it stays good for years, which makes it easy inventory to hold between markets.
